Mists, mellow fruitfulness, seasons changing, the fall, chillier evenings. BUT before we take aim at this coming winter, let’s pause a moment and look back to the winter of 2017-18.

Who can remember the Beast From the East when we’ve just experienced such a long hot summer and the warmth has extended well into October.

While ice remains predictable, last winter’s snow was harder to forecast. But come it did, roaring in from the east, disrupting many businesses and hitting our travel systems.
